Sheffield Wednesday pulled off one of THE football moments on Thursday night.
The Owls’ penalty shootout win over Peterborough United in the Sky Bet League One Play-Off Semi-Finals was the climax of the greatest ever EFL Play-Offs comeback.
Trailing 4-0 from the first leg, Wednesday clawed back to 4-4 on aggregate and saw the job through after finishing 5-5 at the end of extra time.
No side had ever overturned more than a two-goal deficit from a Play-Off first leg before.
