Ralf Rangnick has made it clear that he wouldn’t be interested in replacing Hansi Flick as Germany coach if the German Football Association approached him about the vacant position.
Speaking at a press conference today, the former RB Leipzig boss and current Austria coach said:
“I decided 14 months ago to work here as team manager and prepare the team so that we qualify for the European Championship and play a good role there,” Rangnick said, before stressing:
“Anything else is out of the question for me.”
Prior to his appointment as Austria coach, Rangnick was considered a candidate for the Germany job.
