Manchester United want to win the race for an ‘incredible’ £132million star after he has been earmarked as Erik ten Hag’s ‘dream’ signing, it has been claimed.
Manchester United have earmarked Jude Bellingham as a ‘dream’ signing, but it will be difficult for Erik ten Hag to lure the Borussia Dortmund star to Old Trafford, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has told GiveMeSport.
The Red Devils will be able to freshen up their squad when the winter window opens for business at the turn of the year.

Man United transfer news – Jude Bellingham
According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United could make another pitch to Bellingham as they look to win the race for his signature.
The report suggests the central midfielder is ten Hag’s top target and, amid additional interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid, key decision-makers behind the scenes believe he could create history by helping the Red Devils end their Premier League title drought.
Manchester United are long-term admirers of Bellingham and even lodged a £12.5million bid while he was still on Birmingham City’s books, but a move to Old Trafford failed to come to fruition.
Dortmund are preparing to hold talks over the teenager’s future, with the Bundesliga giants keen to discover whether he wants to seal his exit, while they have also slapped a £132million price tag on their talisman.
Transfer insider Dean Jones recently told GiveMeSport that Manchester United would show they mean business by tempting Bellingham and Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong to the Premier League.

What has Fabrizio Romano said about Bellingham?
Romano believes Manchester United have their work cut out when it comes to attempting to convince Bellingham to head to Old Trafford.
However, the respected Italian journalist feels ten Hag is keen to reach an agreement ahead of other suitors.
When asked whether it will be tough for Manchester United to complete a move, Romano told GiveMeSport: “For Bellingham, it is more than complicated.
“United dream of Bellingham and, of course, he’s a player they would love to sign, but they know the reality.”
Would Bellingham be a good signing for Man United?
According to FBref, Bellingham has averaged more goals, assists and shots on target per 90 minutes than Manchester United creative midfielder Bruno Fernandes since the campaign got underway.
Data also shows that the Dortmund man contributes more than the Portuguese defensively, having made a greater number of tackles, clearances and blocks, so it is abundantly clear that he excels in all areas of the pitch.
Bellingham shone at the World Cup, where Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka was the only England teammate to be handed a better WhoScored rating than his 7.58.
The 19-year-old certainly caught former Manchester United captain Gary Neville’s eye during the Three Lions’ group stage win over Senegal as the ITV pundit, via MailOnline, described his first half performance as ‘incredible’.
Bellingham has found the back of the net nine times for Dortmund this season, while he has also racked up three assists, so ten Hag should do all he can to make a move to Manchester United happen.
