Eintracht Frankfurt are understood to be closing in on a deal to sign Omar Marmoush from Wolfsburg.
According to Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung, negotiations between Frankfurt and the 24-year-old striker are “in the final stages”.
Since Marmoush’s contract expires at the end of the season, he can leave Wolfsburg free of charge.
The Egyptian forward has scored four goals and provided an assist in 36 matches for Wolfsburg.
He spent last season on loan at Stuttgart, racking up three goals and five assists in 21 matches.
