Borussia Dortmund officially unveiled Niclas Füllkrug as a new signing late Thursday evening.

The blockbuster deal sending German national team striker Niclas Füllkrug to Borussia Dortmund is officially through. The 30-year-old was unveiled late Thursday evening. Different German footballing media sources are reporting different numbers on the final transfer feee, with most settling on something in the neighborhood of €13 million plus another €2 million in add-ons.
Germany’s preeminent footballing publication, Kicker Magazine, accepts this estimate. Kicker reports that the final sum is “definitely” well below the €20 million initially demanded by the Hanseaten. Füllkrug’s new contract with Dortmund runs for three years. How BVB trainer Edin Terzic will work him into his current tactical constellation remains to be seen.
